New Lungs in Action Website and Training Portal

Lung Foundation Australia is proud to launch the new Lungs in Action Website and upgrade of the online training platform. As a part of our continual quality management of the Lungs in Action training package, over the festive season the Lungs in Action training platform received an upgrade to Moodle 2.4 to optimize the training experience and usability for our online learners. The website will continue to be developed and refined, so make sure to visit the site regularly to obtain any updated information. If you would like to give any feedback on either the new website layout or content or the upgraded training portal, please do not hesitate to contact the program manager.

Exciting news for ESSA Members!

ESSA has recently confirmed that the organization will award 8 ESSA CPD points to members who successfully complete the Online Theory only component of the Lungs in Action training. This is a great opportunity for those who don’t necessarily want to become an instructor of specific Lungs in Action class, but are looking for a training option to increase their knowledge base with exercising those with pulmonary conditions and heart failure. For those interested in completing the FULL instructor training ESSA will award 15 CPD points. To find out more information on obtaining continuing education points go to the course information section of the website.
